KEFNIR CAPSULES 300 mg (Cefdinir 300mg)
Antibacterial effect:
Cefdinir is unique in that despite being a third generation cephalosporin, it is resistant to all gram (-) and gram (+). It is active against most strains of the following microorganisms, both in vitro and in treatment.
Organisms Gram (+) Aerobic:
Staphycoccus aureus (including beta-lactames seminarians, but no effect with methicillin-resistant staphylococcus)
Stretococcus pneumoniae (only including penicillin-sensitive strains), Streptococcus pyogenes.
Students Gram (-) Aerobic:
Haemophilus influenzae (including beta-lactamase seminarians)
Haemophilus parainfluenzae (including beta-lactamase seminarians)
Cefdinir with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) in vitro from 1mcg / ml or lower for 90% of strains of organisms follows:
Organisms Gram (+) Aerobic:
Straphylococcus epiderrmidis (only with methicillin-sensitive strains), Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus Viridan but not effective against methicillin-resistant enterococci.
Organisms Gram (-) Aerobic:
Citrobater diversus; Protues coli mirabilis; Klesiella pneumoniae; but not effective against strains of Pseudomonas and Enterobacter.
Point:
Used to treat mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms in the following diseases:
Adults and adolescents:
- Community acquired pneumonia
- Phase-level outbreak of chronic bronchitis
- Sinusitis level functions
- Pharyngitis / admindan
- Infections of the skin and skin structure uncomplicated.
- Acute inflammation of the cervix and appendages.
Contraindicated:
- Do not use in patients known to be sensitive to any ingredient Cefdinir or drug yet.
Careful:
- Prolonged use can lead to appearance and the development of drug-resistant organisms
- Exercise caution to patients with a history of inflammatory bowel disease
- When kidney failure with creatinine - Exercise caution with hypersensitivity to penicillin or other drugs.
- If hypersensitivity reactions occur due Cefdinir be discontinued immediately.
