Linezolid Tablets is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria follows:
- Pneumonia acquired in the community: Linezolid is indicated for the treatment of pneumonia acquired in the community due to Streptococcus pneumoniae strains are susceptible to penicillin, including patients with concurrent bacteremia, or Staphylococcus aurens susceptible to methicillin
- Pneumonia in hospital: Linezolid is indicated for the treatment of pneumonia in the hospital due to susceptible strains of penicillin Stretococuspneumoniae, including patients with concurrent bacteremia, or Staphylococcus susceptible or resistant aurens to methicillin (MRSA).
- The skin infections and uncomplicated skin structure: Linezolid is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of skin and skin structure complications, including diabetic foot infections (without concurrent osteomyelitis) caused by aurens susceptible strains of Staphylococcus resistant to methicillin or (MRSA), Streptococcus pyogenes or Staphylococcus agalactiae. May require combination therapy to treat infections caused by gram (-) simultaneously.
- The skin infections and uncomplicated skin structure: Linezolid is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of skin and skin structure caused by uncomplicated Staphylococcus Staphylococcus pyogenes aurens or susceptible to methicillin.
- Vancomycin-resistant Enterococci Streptococcal Infection: Linezolid is indicated for the treatment of vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium (VRE), with or without concurrent bacteremia.
Composition: Each film coated tablet contains Linezolid 600 mg

Dosage |
Adults, children> 12t. 400-600 mg 2 times / day for 10-14 days. Young <12t. 10 mg / kg every 8 hours for 10-14 days. NK vancomycin-resistant enterococci used in 14-28 days. |

Contraindications |
Hypersensitivity to the drug components. |

Be Careful |
Thrombocytopenia, hepatic impairment, renal, hypertension, hyperthyroidism. Pseudomembranous colitis risk. Pregnant & lactating. |

Adverse Reactions |
Pruritus, erythema, blisters on the hands and face. Rare: anaphylaxis. |

Drug interactions |
Avoid foods with high tyramine. Avoid the adrenergic & serotonergic, phenylalanine. Avoid intravenous linezolid coordinate in Y with Infusion: Amphotericin B, chlorpromazin HCl, diazepam, pentamidin isothionat, erythromycin lactobionat, Na phenytoin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazol, Na ceftriaxon. |

Degree C: Studies in animals detect adverse effects on the fetus (teratogenic or fetal death or other impacts) and no controlled studies in women; or no research on women or on animals. The drug should be used only when the benefits higher risk can occur to the fetus. |
