Pharmacodynamics
Arginine protect the cytoplasmic membrane of liver cells, significantly reduced concentrations of liver enzymes (AST and ALT). Drugs mitochondrial membrane protection by effectively blocking the release of AST. It prevents lipid accumulation in liver cells.
Arginine restore mitochondrial function and maintain the body's energy levels, improves metabolic functions of the cell. Arginine increases the metabolism of glucide, lipid, protid and the synthesis of coenzyme A. Reducing -GT plasma concentrations (-glutamyl-transpeptidase) and the maintenance of BSP (bromo-sulfo-phthalein).
Pharmacokinetics:
Arginine group -N and -S is not inactivated by gastric juice, good for absorption through the gastrointestinal tract.

Dosage and administration:
The dose and dosing interval for each specific case as directed by your treating physician.
The usual dose is as follows: 1 tablet 2 times / day
The increasing cases of congenital blood ammonia: 250-500 mg / kg / day.
Contraindicated:
- Do not take medicine for people with known hypersensitivity to any component of the medication.
- Patients with chronic renal failure.
Careful: It should be used with caution in children under 15 years of age, patients with electrolyte disorders.
Pregnancy: Not recommended for pregnant women
The period of breastfeeding: Discontinue the medication while breastfeeding
Undesirable effects (ADR)
When using arginine may have undesirable effects following: Headache, dizziness, flushing, low blood pressure, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain.
Notify Doctor unwanted effects encountered when using the drug.
Interactions:
- Diuretics increase blood potassium: When used concurrently with diuretics arginine increased blood potassium, which can lead to increased levels of potassium too. Therefore, caution should be used simultaneously two drugs should closely monitor the concentration of potassium in the blood.
- Concomitant treatment with hypertension group: May cause excessive hypotension, causing vertigo, dizziness, headache. Therefore, when combined with this medication dosage adjustments and tight blood pressure control.
Overdose and its management
No specific antidote. Upon the occurrence of symptoms of overdose, consider applying symptomatic treatment and medical support measures (to induce vomiting, gastric lavage and user-specific antagonists if any) immediately.
